Day 10-12 blurt foundation care-athon
Day 10- Laugh
I love to laugh, laughter makes the world go round. you can diffuse any situation with laughter and it's what brings people together. When you're sad it's good to pop on some comedy on tv (im currently watching season one of friends to cheer myself up because im having a bit of a blue day) and have a laugh at some comedy or just immerse yourself in some good old sitcoms. laughter has been proven to lift your mood and give yourself those good endorphins!
Day 11- Encourage
Encouragement.
Every time you face a new challenge or set back you need encouragement. Encouragement from yourself and/or those around you to face those difficult times a get through them. Encouragement can be also needed when you are being pushed out of your comfort zones such as when you are making a new change in your life (i.e diet, job change or change in study) and you need that push to make that step towards change because sometimes it can be really scary! for me changing university was daunting because i had little idea how to do it and then cancel my enrolment at the university i was at and i made some financial mistakes that i didn't need to but i learnt from it and gained experience in making major changes in my life and improving my university commute times by moving to a closer uni which made my life so much easier because before it was taking me 3 hours just to get to uni. encouragement can be that one step between staying stagnant in your life or flourishing in it.
Day 12- Animals
Animals are a blessing on this earth and i believe they all make us better people. Growing up with pets taught me responsibility and compassion for the cats, dogs, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters that i had growing up. Looking after them also made me realise i should appreciate the little things in life such as a nice sunny day, a comfy couch and adventures outdoors to the park and beach. Seeing animals be simply happy can make you self reflect on what you should be focusing on and pets themselves can become a best (furry) friend that you can cuddle when you feel sad or have a sleepy lie in on a sunday with as well as be a great study buddy to cuddle next to you as you work on assignments.
